The summit features a prominent trig point and a large wooden observation platform that provides stunning panoramic views.
Holmbury Hill is primarily composed of sandstone and has a rich variety of flora and fauna. The underlying geology, shaped during the Triassic period, is responsible for the unique landscapes you see today.

The name 'Holmbury' is derived from Old English, meaning a 'hill in a swampy place.'
