Classic An Teallach Traverse

This is the iconic full traverse of An Teallach, taking in both Sgurr Fiona and Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill. The route starts from Corrie Hallie (NH092085), ascending via the Sail Liath ridge before continuing over the pinnacles and summiting Sgurr Fiona. The return follows the same path back to Corrie Hallie. This route is known for its breathtaking ridgeline and challenging scrambles.

Sgurr Fiona and Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill Loop via Dundonnell

This circular route starts from Dundonnell (NH114878). The ascent follows the path up Gleann Chaorachain, reaching the ridge near Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill. From there, the route continues to Sgurr Fiona before descending via Sail Liath and looping back to Dundonnell. The loop offers stunning views over Loch Broom and the surrounding peaks.

Approach via Toll an Lochain

This route provides a spectacular approach to Sgurr Fiona by ascending via the corrie of Toll an Lochain. Toll an Lochain offers dramatic mountain scenery, but the route requires good navigational skills.

This is a straightforward out-and-back route focusing solely on Sgurr Fiona. Starting at Corrie Hallie (NH092085), the path ascends directly to Sail Liath before continuing to Sgurr Fiona. The descent retraces the same path. This route avoids the full traverse but still offers stunning views and a rewarding climb.

This route focuses on exploring the ridgeline of An Teallach without committing to the full traverse.
