At the summit, you'll find a distinctive trig point, which is a great spot for selfies – unless you're photogenic, in which case your mates will adore the view too!
The hill is primarily composed of limestone and gritstone, providing a mix of rocky outcrops and grassy areas. The geology is representative of the Carboniferous period, with sedimentary rocks that have been shaped over millions of years by the elements.

The name 'Win Hill' comes from the Old English word 'wynn', meaning joy, referring perhaps to the wonderful views that can be enjoyed from its summit.
Historically, the area has been significant for its lead mining industry during the 19th century, and remnants can still be seen around the region.
A popular and well-marked path leading from Hope village, weaving through pleasant woodlands before ascending to the summit.
Starting at Ladybower Reservoir, this circuit allows for both a leisurely stroll along the water and a more strenuous climb to the summit.
