At the Summit

The summit is marked by a prominent cairn, which offers a great excuse for a rest and a photo op. There’s also a small trig point that stubbornly refuses to be measured by GPS.

Terrain & Geology

A mix of rocky outcrops and grassy slopes with sections of boggy ground to keep you on your toes (or squish you into a cold muddy embrace).

The mountain is primarily composed of complex metamorphic rock with some granite outcrops. The resulting rugged terrain provides a variety of microhabitats, attracting unique flora and fauna.
