At the Summit

The summit features a modest trig point surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding landscape and a few friendly mountain hares, if you’re lucky.

Terrain & Geology

A mix of grassy slopes and rocky outcrops with some sections that can become quite boggy in wetter weather.

Banoge Mountain primarily consists of layered sedimentary rocks, which gives the hill its characteristic steep slopes. You'll also notice some evidence of glacial activity, with various boulders strewn about, perfect for the aspiring rock climber.
