Hutton Roof, with its peak standing at 219 meters, is a delightful Marilyn located in the heart of Cumbria. Although it may not be the tallest mountain on the block, don’t be fooled by its stature; this little gem offers some of the most stunning views you can find on this side of the Pennines.

The Hutton Roof Crags Circular is the most popular route, which takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Spanning 6.5 km, it offers a delightful mix of woodland, limestone features, and panoramic views. Remember to take your camera; you will want to snap some pictures worthy of a sequel to 'The Sound of Music'!
Summit Features
When you reach the summit, you will be greeted by a modest stone cairn that has borne witness to the feeling of achievement felt by many a hiker. The rocky outcrops surrounding the summit offer stunning vantage points, perfect for a quick snack and a well-earned rest.
