The summit features a substantial cairn and a trig point, which stands proudly against the stunning backdrop of the surrounding peaks.
The mountain is primarily composed of granite, characteristic of the Cairngorms, which provides a rugged terrain peppered with boulders and occasional patches of heather.
From the summit, one can see the neighboring Cairnwell and a plethora of rolling hills, valleys and, on a clear day, patches of the North Sea.
