This route begins at the Forest Lodge car park in Abernethy Forest. It follows the forest trails before emerging into the expansive Strath Nethy valley. This circular route also starts from Glenmore Lodge and includes a detour to visit the Barns of Bynack, large tors of granite near the summit.
