At the summit, you will find a grassy area and a small cairn that offers an excellent spot to catch your breath and take in the views.
The hill is primarily composed of sedimentary rock, particularly sandstone, which was formed in the ancient seas of the Jurassic period. The varied strata can give rise to interesting features and fossils for the keen-eyed.
From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of the Sidlaw Hills and, on a clear day, the distant peaks of the Grampians.
