About this walk

A short and gentle woodland loop on Langdon Hill with elevated views over the coast and easy paths suitable for most abilities.

The circular trail begins from the Langdon Hill car park and follows a wide, level track through mature woodland. Sitting high above the surrounding landscape, the route offers occasional sea views where gaps appear between the trees. The woodland is peaceful, with the chance of spotting deer along the way.

The main loop is straightforward, flat, and well suited to a quick stroll or for those wanting a low-effort walk. It can feel a little short on its own, so it pairs naturally with longer routes branching off the hill. Several paths lead out towards the surrounding countryside and even all the way to Golden Cap for a more substantial outing.

This is an easy, scenic woodland circuit with plenty of fresh air and gentle views, ideal as a stand-alone leg stretch or as a warm-up for the bigger coastal paths that connect to it.
