Shorter town and Greenway walks
- Alnwick Pastures: 3.8 km (2.4 miles), about 45 minutes. A circuit through the Pastures and back through town and Denwick Lane.
- Friday Greenway Lunch Loop: 4 km (2.5 miles), about one hour. A return walk along the Greenway. Check upcoming dates and confirm with the organiser if you want to join a group outing.
- Aln Valley Railway Footpath: 4.2 km (2.6 miles), about one hour. Open its map for the complete circuit and stay on walking paths around the railway.
For a longer circuit that leaves the Greenway for field paths and a public way across the golf course, compare the Alnwick Juniors FC Loop: 6 km (3.7 miles), about one hour and 45 minutes. Its authored notes cover seasonal livestock and muddy fields.

A garden or castle visit is separate from a walking route past an attraction. Check admission and opening on any route through a ticketed estate.
