The summit features a well-established cairn that makes for a great photo opportunity, plus panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The mountain is primarily composed of granite, giving it a rugged beauty characteristic of the area, with steep slopes and a mixture of rocky outcrops and grassy patches.
From the summit, you can see the Twelve Bens to the south, Loughs Inagh and Mask, and on a clear day, the distant peaks of the Nephin Begs.
Stumpa Duloigh translates to 'the peak of the face/mask', possibly referring to its distinctive profile.

This route begins from the N59 where you can find a pull-in to start your ascent. Follow the well-trodden path to the summit.
