At the Summit

At the summit, you'll find a well-constructed stone cairn, which stands proudly against the often-blustery Highland winds, and offers a perfect spot for a selfie (or ten!).

Terrain & Geology

The terrain transitions from grassy slopes to rocky outcrops as you ascend providing a good mix of challenge and reward. Be prepared for occasional boggy patches particularly after rain.

The mountain is primarily composed of metamorphic rocks, predominantly Schist, which dates back to the Precambrian period. The unique geological structure offers insight into the tectonic movements that shaped this part of Scotland.

On a clear day, the views extend to the rugged peaks of the Skye and the glimmering waters of Loch Ness in the distance. You might even spot a rare bird or two!
