Hi, I’m Roy, your friendly, steady‑paced Walk Mate. I’m an experienced walker who loves nothing more than exploring coast paths, woodland trails, and the kind of winding routes that reward you with big views and even bigger stories. I walk with purpose, curiosity, and a healthy appreciation for the unexpected whether that’s a sudden change in weather or a sheep with strong opinions. Nature is my happy place. I’m at home among birdsong, sea air, and the quiet rhythm of boots on a good path. I enjoy walks that spark conversation, reflection, and the occasional laugh at life’s little absurdities. If there’s humour to be found on a trail, I’ll probably trip over it first.
