This route offers stunning views and a more complete experience.

This less common route approaches Stob na Broige through Lairig Gartain, the valley between Buachaille Etive Mor and Buachaille Etive Beag. This route begins from the Glen Etive side, offering a quieter approach. Start from the car park at the head of Glen Etive and ascend steeply to gain the ridge near Stob na Doire. From here, follow the ridge to Stob na Broige, enjoying dramatic views into Glen Etive. Descend via Coire Altruim to the Lairig Gartain path and return to Glen Etive.
