The summit boasts a large stone cairn that stands as a proud marker, with breathtaking views extending across the rugged landscape of the Highlands.

Rocky and heather-covered slopes with sections of boggy ground particularly after the rains. It’s crucial to avoid the ‘soggy socks’ curse.

The summit of Sgurr Dhomhnuill features ancient metamorphic rocks known as Schists. These rocks tell a geological tale more than 400 million years old, showcasing the tumultuous efforts of plate tectonics. Who says rocks can’t be talkative?
