At the Summit

The summit boasts a large stone cairn and offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding peaks and valleys, making it a prime spot for those nostalgic photo ops.

Terrain & Geology

Rocky and grassy with some boggy sections towards the base. Sturdy boots are a must to avoid those 'squishy' surprises!

Primarily composed of granite with some metamorphic rock, Sgurr an Fhuarain features interesting glacial sculpting which can be admired along the ascent. Who knew geology could be so captivating?
