Starting at Inverchoran (parking available), this circular route takes you up Gleann Chorainn to reach the col between Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais and Creag Ghorm a' Bhealaich. From here, ascend the ridge to the summit. Descend via the west ridge towards Carn nan Gobhar to complete a satisfying circuit.

This lesser-known route begins at Struy and involves a long approach via Glen Strathfarrar and Loch Mullardoch. Very Challenging

This is a well-loved traverse of the four Strathfarrar Munros, including Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais. Starting from the locked gate at the entrance to Glen Strathfarrar, it involves a car shuttle to the far end of the glen. The route takes in Sgurr na Ruaidhe, Carn nan Gobhar, Sgurr a' Choire Ghlais, and Sgurr Fhuar-thuill in one continuous hike.
