At the Summit

The summit boasts a prominent trig point and a shelter cairn, which offers a perfect photo opportunity. Don’t forget to poke your head through the cairn – it’s said to improve your sense of direction (but we can't promise that on a foggy day!).

Terrain & Geology

Primarily grassy with rocky outcrops tending to be boggy in sections after rain.

The mountain is predominantly composed of volcanic rock, featuring layered and eroded cliffs that showcase the geological history of the region. Look closely, and you might even spot some igneous intrusions and minerals that would make any geology enthusiast squeal with delight.

Views & Scenery

From the summit, enjoy sweeping views of Snowdon, the Llyn Peninsula, and the surrounding lush green valleys. On a clear day, you might even see the shimmering waters of Cardigan Bay in the distance.
