At the Summit

At the summit, you will find a large stone cairn, which sports a lovely view over the city of Inverness. On a clear day, it’s said you can even see as far as the Black Isle!

The terrain consists mainly of grassy paths and some rocky sections with a few boggy patches to keep you on your toes.

The mountain is primarily composed of Old Red Sandstone, which is notable for its distinctive reddish hue. The geological formations provide an interesting insight into the Earth's history, with layers dating back over 400 million years.
