Friday Greenway Lunch Loop

The mapped Greenway route is 4 km (2.5 miles) out and back, with an estimated walking time of one hour. It is graded easy on Walkmates. The route description below explains the author's usual lunchtime walk.

Starting at Alnwick Junior FC, this is a Friday lunchtime walk I’ve been doing for a while.

We head along the Greenway to the bridge and back. Flat, well-paved and easy. Around an hour at a relaxed pace.

Ideal if you work from home or have a spare hour on a Friday. Kids and dogs welcome.

I’ll be there most Fridays at 12:30 (often with my wife). If you fancy a bit of company for your lunchtime stretch, you’re very welcome to join.

No pressure. Just a walk.
